Oct. 15th 2007 - All previous file downloads from nuix.org and rpg-quest.net are available here: http://www.macux.org/olddownloads
Jan. 7th 2007 - I have finally aquired the MacUX.com domain as well as .net and .org. This will allow me to run the project without the worry of naming conflicts like the ones that has happened in the past. More information on the naming conflict can be found here: http://www.nuix.org
Dec. 17th 2006 - Within the next 48hrs this project will oficailly change its name and be known as the MacUX Project.
Oct. 3rd 2006 - Sometimes i wonder if anyone cares about this project, anyway i've started a new form of documenting how this all works. HOPEFULLY, this'll mean i can put up a repository of the steps and oter information to make this a more interactive project.
Sept. 17th 2006 - Someone requested the option to donate money instead of old (G4 or Higher) equiptment. Here it is (On a personal note) Just wish i knew how this will affect taxes, etc.
Uspecified (USD)
Sept. 11th 2006 - a bug tracker for this and other projects of mine is now running, Bugzilla seemed a bit dated and rough to run. We are now running Mantis. Mantis is a free PHP based bugtracker. It is currently located here: http://www.xargos.com/buggies/.
Sept. 8th 2006 - Mailing lists are now up, not that they are useful. You can find them here: http://lists.nuix.org, though it may still be some time before the DNS server caches get refreshed and can handle the new subdomain.
Sept. 7th 2006 - We now have mailing lists waiting for me to confinugre when I get home. Please check back after 9 or 10pm US EST for the link, it will also be posted to my blog.
Sept. 6th 2006 - The future home of the n[ui]x Development Libraries.
Heres the whole scoop;
On auguest 2nd 2006 my house was robbed. Stolen were my iBook G4, an iPod and 2 thumbdrives. The iBook was my only Macintosh computer and my development box. The iPod and one of the Thumbdrives i was using to backup on a daily basis. So i'm stuck. I have no Mac to continue my work, the only burned backup i have was 3 months old at that point (hard to do as it was 4 DVDS).
As soon as i can get my hands on another Macintosh, and an iPod i will continue development. Untill then, Molten Visuals will continue to host the current downloads untill Feburary 2007. At that point assuming i have the funds this stie will host the files. This site will also become the active host as soon as development continues.
Anyone thowing away a working G4 or Newer Macintosh, would be willing to part with it, and would like to support this project please contact me. Contact details can be found at Xargos.
Due to problems at Molten Visuals the blog formerlly there will now be hosted at TechnicalStressings.com.
